Getting married to the person you love, adore and worship more than anything else in the universe should be something special, in fact it should be the most special commitment that any two people ever make to one another, a bond and a promise that hopefully will live on for ever and never be broken. There is no doubt that the sentiment is right in a wedding but sometimes it is difficult to actually put into action what is said and meant by the whole ceremony, the vows, the atmosphere and the emotion of the event all need to be wrapped in to a fitting venue. For many people this is the hardest part of the whole wedding planning task, where on earth will do justice to the wonderful event that is your wedding? Many people opt for the traditional church wedding because of the history and pomp of the occasion whereas some people opt for the more new age beach wedding, both of which are wonderful venues and have satisfied many a couples desires. If you want to get married and chose a romantic location that will be the envy of all of your friends and family the location has got to be Italy. Italy may not have churches as grand as some of the old English ones and it may not have beaches that are beautiful as those found in Hawaii or Fiji but what it does have is a romantic heritage that is far greater than anything found anywhere else on this planet. To fully understand this you need to visit Venice and stand in the center of St Marks Square just as the sun is setting and take in your surroundings. Shut everything else out of your mind and try to envisage anywhere on earth that is quite as spectacularly romantic as the spot that you are stood on at that precise moment.
There are not many places that can compare to it to be honest and of those that do compare to it are nearly all in Italy also, the Trevi Fountain in Rome, Florence, the Amalfi and Capri coast and countless little villages in Tuscany. Italy is without any doubt the most romantic country in the world so where betters a place to get married than there?
With so many beautiful places to choose from you may be hard pressed to pick just one spot to tie the knot but do not dwell on it for too long because where ever you choose will be a fitting location for your wedding. Every city has something ever so slightly different to offer you but the under lying current of romance is the same where ever you go, romance and Italy go together hand in hand.
Weddings in Italy are special and they always draw a large crowd of on-lookers, whether they know the happy couple or not the locals are always more than willing to wish them good luck in life and even shed a tear of happiness for the newly wed couple. Weddings in Italy will give you nothing but fond memories of the occasion and the knowledge that your happy day was blessed in the most romantic country on the planet, now that has got to be worth something.
